Brief facts about led lamp:

An LED lamp or LED light is an electric light that produces light using light-emitting diodes. LED lamps are significantly more energy-efficient than equivalent incandescent lamps and fluorescent lamps. The most efficient commercially available LED lamps have efficiencies exceeding 200 lumens per watt and convert more than half the input power into light. Commercial LED lamps have a lifespan several times longer than both incandescent and fluorescent lamps. LED lamps require an electronic LED circuit to operate from mains power lines, and losses from this circuit means that the efficiency of the lamp is lower than the efficiency of the LED chips it uses. The driver circuit may require special features to be compatible with lamp dimmers intended for use on incandescent lamps. Generally the current waveform contains some amount of distortion, depending on the luminaires' technology. The LED lamp market is projected to grow from US$75.8 billion in 2020 to US$160 billion in 2026.

LED strip light - An LED strip, tape, or ribbon light is a flexible circuit board populated by surface-mount light-emitting diodes and other components that usually comes with an adhesive backing.

LED display - A LED display is a flat panel display that uses an array of light-emitting diodes as pixels for a video display. Their brightness allows them to be used outdoors where they are visible in the sun for store signs and billboards.

Lux - The lux is the unit of illuminance, or luminous flux per unit area, in the International System of Units. It is equal to one lumen per square metre. In photometry, this is used as a measure of the intensity, as perceived by the human eye, of light that hits or passes through a surface.

Photometry (optics) - Photometry is a branch of science that deals with the measurement of light in terms of its perceived brightness to the human eye. It is concerned with quantifying the amount of light that is emitted, transmitted, or received by an object or a system.

Radiation angle - In fiber optics, the radiation angle is half the vertex angle of the cone of light emitted at the exit face of an optical fiber.

SMD LED - The light from white LED lamps and LED strip lights is usually provided by industry standard surface-mounted device LEDs. Non-SMD types of LED lighting also exist, such as COB and MCOB. Surface-mounted device LED modules are described by the dimensions of the LED package.
