Brief facts about catti:

The Chatti were an ancient Germanic tribe whose homeland was near the upper Weser river. Adgandestrius - Adgandestrius was a chief of the ancient Germanic tribe of the Chatti. He offered to kill Arminius if the Romans would send him poison for the purpose; but Tiberius declined the offer.

Mattiaci - The Mattiaci were by Tacitus recorded as an ancient Germanic tribe and related to the Chatti, their Germanic neighbors to the east. There is no clear definition of what the tribe's name meant.

Batavi - The Batavi were an ancient Germanic tribe that lived around the modern Dutch Rhine delta in the area that the Romans called Batavia, from the second half of the first century BC to the third century AD. The name is also applied to several military units employed by the Romans that were originally...

Woman of the Chatti - The Woman of the Chatti, or the Chattian seeress, is an alleged Germanic seeress of the Chattian tribe who according to Suetonius prophesied that Roman Emperor Vitellius would reign for a long time if he survived his mother Sextilia.
